St Maurice is the patron saint of Alpine hunters, the French infantry, but also the Swiss and American infantry. We are told that he helped transform the shattered late Roman Empire into a new and well-organised one. In our case, he is supposed to help transform the lives of our young people spiritually, intellectually, humanly and enable them to have a future.

The St. Maurice Education Foundation is committed to raising funds to support the primary education of children in Cameroon. Our programmes focus on improving learning conditions, providing teaching materials and promoting a positive learning environment.

Our education initiatives aim to equip children with the skills they need to succeed. We help them develop their skills and encourage their interest in education to improve their future prospects.

Key Objectives

Give someone a future!

Empowering youths for a brighter future; helping, improving and caring for the many vulnerable children suffering from the ongoing Anglophone crisis in Kumbo, North West Region, Cameroon.

To empower war-affected youth and vulnerable populations in Nkum Sub-Division to acquire skills, knowledge and confidence to rebuild their lives and communities.

Many are displaced to other regions of Cameroon but  a lot are left in the villages because of lack of means to relocate to conducive areas or to enroll in private schools or learn a skill.

Our foundation is there to help sponsor or grant them financial assistance, payment of fees, providing didactic materials for them to go to school. This will go a long way to rescue them from crime and drugs since many have continuously engaged in prostitution, drugs, arm robbery and eventually frustration

Our Mission

  • Agricultural skills training (e.g. crop management, animal husbandry).

This comprehensive plan aims to support war-affected youth and vulnerable populations in the North West region, specifically in Tatum.
